Univera Monthly Cost = $300 Last Check = $0
My wife and I are seriously considering dropping this opportunity as we do NOT do any advertising or marketing for this opportunity. I do drink the product, but I could probably get the same results by exercising and eating healthier.
I thought my wife was going to actually give this opportunity a try, but she’s not doing anything. No marketing at all.
Xango/MyJetStream Monthly Cost = $269.47 Last Check = $78 ($28 commission + $50 Sold a couple Bottles of Xango Locally)
I stopped actively marketing Xango/MyJetStream. My ads still appear in a few banner/traffic exchanges, but that’s about it. I did join a monthly training program called 180DaysToGreatness. I was lucky and got in when the program was on sale; therefore, I pay less than $10 per month. The regular price is almost $100 per month. The problem is I don’t follow the program as closely as I should. Maybe the program is priced high so people put more effort into the program? I know I’m not putting much effort into the program because I didn’t spend that much…shame on me!
EyeEarn/SFI Monthly Cost = $29.95 Last Check = $19.32
EyeEarn/SFI continues to be my best earner (cost vs. profit) and the easiest program to market. I do NOT do any paid advertising for this program. My ads appear in only traffic/banner exchanges and on this blog. I don’t get many hits on the traffic/banner exchanges and I don’t get much hits to this site. For the amount of effort and work I put into this program, I think I’m getting a pretty good return.
MyWorldPlus Monthly Cost = $19.95 Last Check = $2.80
I haven’t tried using the discount card for this program, and I haven’t done much advertising, so obviously I’m not making much money (no sign ups). I’m going to start promoting this program on a few traffic/banner exchanges for one month. If I don’t see any results, this program will be dropped. To be honest with you, I found a better discount book locally. It’s only $19.95 for a 1 year membership and there’s a wider range of vendors and a better discount.
Success University Monthly Cost = $57.90 Last Check = $0
After much consideration, I dropped out of Success University. Advertising on a major site and a nationwide home business magazine I got only a handful of prospects, but no sign-ups. I actually spent $99 on the magazine ad, but my $99 was refunded to me because I caught an error in another ad.
The only program I recommend for other noobs like me is EyeEarn/SFI. The risk is very low at only $20 to start and $29.95 a month, and the results are almost immediate.
Of course my results are unique to me, but so far EyeEarn has shown the best rate of return for the amount of work that I actually put into the program. I get less than 150 visitors per month for this site, and my banners only appear on the TrafficSwarm exchange, and those ads get less than 100 clicks per month. I think I’m doing pretty good for the amount of traffic I am generating.
I am currently promoting several online opportunities with the hopes that a few of them will be successful.
Univera Monthly Cost = $300 Last Check = $0
This is my wife’s MLM venture. She does NOT actively promote Univera. We do not spend any money on advertising. We simply “Gift” products to a few people every once in a while.
Xango/MyJetStream Monthly Cost = $269.47 Last Check = $78 ($28 commission + $50 Sold a couple Bottles of Xango Locally)
This is my main business. I have spent hundreds of dollars promoting MyJetStream/Xango and have only received one sign-up so far. MyJetStreamHawaii ads are currently on this site and a few traffic exchanges. I decided to stop buying into the advertising coop as I haven’t had a really good return on investment.
EyeEarn/SFI Monthly Cost = $29.95 Last Check = $8.98
I have not spent any money advertising this program, but this opportunity has the highest rate of return so far. The ad for EyeEarn appears on this site and a few traffic exchanges.
MyWorldPlus Monthly Cost = $19.95 Last Check = $2.80
I have not spent any money advertising this program. In fact, the only link I have on the Internet for this program appears on this site. The $2.80 is strictly from “Vertical Acceleration” or a single downline leg. Not one person in my downline was personally sponsored by me (Not yet at least). The cool thing about this opportunity is the discount card. I just received my card yesterday and will be seeing if the card works this weekend.
Success University Monthly Cost = $57.90 Last Check = $0
I spent $100 to place a banner on CWAHM.com. I received 5 leads but no sign-ups yet.
As you can see, some of the business opportunities I am trying require very little work and very little advertising. I would suggest starting with one of these smaller programs before stepping into something more costly such as Univera or Xango/MyJetStream.
I will be running ads on my site shortly to recoup my advertising efforts, and I may dabble in some affiliate marketing.
Today’s Lesson: If you are looking at a MLM / Network Marketing opportunity, try a low cost opportunity first to get your feet wet, then step up to more costly opportunities.
I started taking Ageless Xtra a little over one month ago, and I still don’t like the taste. To overcome the taste, I continue to mix a half a bottle of the Essentials drink into my Ageless Xtra. I also drink a few ounces of Xango at night for dinner.
Unfortunately my blood pressure still has not changed. I’m hoping the effects will kick in closer to the end of my 90 day challenge.
I do have some good news though. I haven’t been sick since I started drinking the Essentials drink; although, many of my co-workers have been out sick during that time. Also, I did notice that my back pain has gone away.
I worked on the ramp at United Airlines for about 4 years loading luggage. During my first year at United, I hurt my back, and I always woke up with a little bit of back pain. About a week after I started drinking Ageless Xtra the back pains disappeared.
I do have one other observation regarding my back pain. When I was on vacation and not drinking any drinks, my back pain returned. The pain wasn’t very bad, but the pain was enough for me to notice. When I returned from vacation and started on my regiment of drinks, my back pain went away again.
I’m not sure which drink is having this effect on me, but I realy think the Univera products are responsible, as I have been drinking the Univera products the longest. I want to believe the Xango is responsible, but I don’t think I drink enough of the Xango for the drink to have any effect on me.
I have been taking Ageless Xtra for over 10 days, and my blood pressure is still the same. I now mix 1/2 a bottle of the 3.3 oz Essentials into my Ageless Xtra to tone down the strong V8 taste that I don’t like. I tried to water down the Ageless, but It still tasted like V8. Now that I mix it with the Essentials drink, I really like the taste.
If you like V8, then you will not have a problem drinking Ageless. I just hate V8.
I decided to add Xango to my daily regiment of drinks, and tonight I had 1 oz of Xango after dinner. I tried a Xango sample last week, and to tell you the truth, if I were to choose between Ageless Xtra and Xango strictly on taste, Xango would win hands down.
Now I drink a mixture of Ageless Xtra and Essentials for breakfast and lunch, and I drink Xango after dinner. If you ate what I ate, you would drink as much health drinks as you could…hehe
Do you want to try a sample of Ageless and a sample of Xango? Send me an email.
As you can see, I added a few extra banners to my site. I’m trying to build traffic to my blog so I decided to try TrafficSwarm and FreeTrafficBar. If my traffic doesn’t change, those ads will be going away.
Well, let’s start off with just News. I received my shipment of Ageless Xtra, so I decided to stop taking Essentials. Essentials tastes fruity while Ageless Xtra kinda reminds me of V8. We all know my blood pressure is high so I’m not going to report on my blood pressure unless I notice a significant drop.
The Bad News, the tax thing we learned from Harrison may be a scam, but I’m not going to pass any judgement until the end of the year when it’s time to do our taxes. A source that knows Harrison warned me not to get sucked in by his “Tax Scheme” as we could end up paying at the end of the year and/or being audited by the IRS. I checked the IRS website and it says, “The public should not be fooled by home-based business schemes that claim taxpayers can deduct most, or all, of their personal expenses as business expenses.” The IRS actually has a large section dedicated to “Abusive Home-Based Business Tax Schemes”. My wife and I already changed our W4s so I just told my wife we really need to save all the extra cash we are getting (from adjusting our W4s) just in case we have to pay at the end of the year.
The Good News, my Xango upline just placed someone under me. She called and said she does this for anyone not moving at the same pace as the others in her downline (guess I’m slow…hehe). She encourages her downline to do this for their downline so everyone can be successful. I just need a total of 3 people on my first line, then I can start helping those 3 people build their downline. I really want to quit by early next year.
I have an update on all the other things I have tried so far. For “Magnetic Sponsoring” and The 7 Great Lies, I tried placing a few ads using Google adwords. I guess I should have read “Building on a Budget” first, because that report said not to try google adwords yet. Well, I spent about $60 and I got about 7 email addresses for The 7 Great Lies, and not one person has purchased anything. I did get one sale on Magnetic Sponsoring, but I can’t figure out where the sale came from. I have stopped using Google adwords for the moment, until I learn how to write better ads and better capture pages. Magnetic Sponsoring and The 7 Great Lies are going to take a back seat while I focus on Xango.
Quick Compare - Univera vs MyJetStream/Xango:
Univera
MyJetStream/Xango
Univera has a gifting system for face to face marketing, but I have yet to find someone successfully marketing Univera online.
Xango can be done face to face, but the MyJetStream system provides a method of marketing Xango online. You may also purchase MyJetStream leads, and my group does marketing coops. For the marketing coop, an ad is placed in a major magazine and team members can purchase shares of the coop.
Follow-up calls are made by my wife’s upline, my wife simply “gifts” the product and her upline will do the follow-up.
Using the MyJetStream system, the system does the majority of the selling of the product via the MyJetStream website and videos. In the beginning your upline is available for three-way calls, but you will eventually be doing the follow-up calls on your own.
You can try the tax option, but I don’t feel right promoting it until I see our results at the end of the year.

NOTE: Not all Univera associates do follow-up calls for their downline, and not all associates promote the tax option.
