I spent most of the day searching the Internet for information on how to succeed at Network Marketing, and I stumbled across a free eBook called “The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing” by Ann Sieg. I have no idea who Ann Sieg is, but the book was free so I decided to get a copy. I had to provide an email address, so I gave an email address that I typically never check that only receives SPAM.

TIP: If you ever have to sign up for anything online and they want your email address, make sure you review their privacy policy, or make sure you opt in/out appropriately or you’re probably going to get some unwanted SPAM. I highly recommend going to GMAIL.com and creating a free email account just for SPAM. If at a later time you DO want to receive the emails, you can always request to have your email address updated.

The eBook had some great information, but for me, the eBook just reinforced what I kinda already knew about Network Marketing. Here are just a few of the lies about Network Marketing from the eBook:

Everyone is your prospect!
This really isn’t sales. We just share products with people.
Anyone can do this!
We’ll build your business for you.

You can get the other three lies and a complete explanation by downloading the free eBook here. Yes, you have to provide an email address, so make sure you read my “Tip” above.

In the eBook was a sales pitch for “The Renegade Network Marketer” eBook also by Ann Sieg. The pitch was very intriguing but I wasn’t about to spend $67, but I kept reading anyway. I didn’t recognize any of the names endorsing the eBook until I saw the name Ty Tribble. If you don’t know who Ty Tribble is, you can check out his website, www.TyTribble.com, here. Ty Tribble is a name I recognized in the Network Marketing circle, a “Guru” if you will, so I decided to order the eBook. The eBook came with a money back guarantee so I figured there was nothing to lose.

I read through “The Renegade Network Marketer” in a few hours (I will definitely go through it again to really absorb the information.). I thought the concept was spot on. I work in the Internet Marketing department for a medium sized corporation, and the information Ann provided mirrored the concepts and practices we use to promote our website. I never thought of using these concepts in Network Marketing, but it totally made sense, but it’s totally against normal Network Marketing practices, hence the title of the book, “The Renegade Network Marketer.” Not only are these concepts revealed in the eBook in an easy to read format, but it also tells you how to put these concepts to work for you.

IMPORTANT: Although the concepts in the eBook sound very easy to implement, actual implementation will take a lot of work.

Included with your purchase of The Renegade Network Marketer is access to ”The Renegade System”. The Renegade System is the system used to implement the concepts introduced in The Renegade Network Marketer. There are many tools in The Renegade System, some are FREE, and some are FOR SALE. Whether or not you decide to purchase the tools is entirely up to you. Just remember to BUDGET your spending. You will need some tools, and you will need to advertise, but you can start small and gradually increase your spending as your business grows.

The Renegade System relies heavily on the creation of a website and then driving customers to the website via PPC or Pay-Per-Click marketing. Here is a quote from The Renegade System, “Just one of the many reasons it’s to your advantage to have your own website that you have full control over is because about 80% OR MORE of the advertising opportunities online AREN’T available to you unless you have your own website!”

I have several websites on the Internet, and at first, I did not use any marketing techniques to promote those sites, and I only averaged about 30 visitors per day to each of those websites. I ran a marketing test on one of my sites, and now that one site has over 5,000 visitors per day. The problem for me wasn’t creating the website, the problem was getting the appopriate content and getting people to visit my sites (traffic). I’m still having problems with the most important piece of the puzzle, how to monetize my traffic or conversions, getting people to buy. The Renegade System is supposed to help you do it all, content, traffic, and conversions.

I highly recommend these eBooks. If you are into Network Marketing or are thinking of getting into Network Marketing you need to read these eBooks. At least get the free eBook, “The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing.” The main concept of both eBooks is to NOT use traditional Network Marketing techniques to grow your business if you want to succeed. If you have a degree in marketing, you probably don’t need “The Renegade Network Marketer”, just use the concpets you learned and apply them to the business, but if marketing isn’t your strongpoint, The Renegade Network Marketer is a great investment for the price.
